Where are you
located? (Please read this – if nothing
else)
I live in
Lopatcong NJ, a very small
town in NJ on the Pennsylvania border just across the river from
Easton, PA in Warren County. I can't tell
you how many clients have contacted me for photo shoots only to learn they are in
Australia, Europe, Canada, California and the Mid-West. Obviously we need to be in a
proximity of each other that is reasonably within a short drive (3 hours each way or somewhere in
the middle). I have shot local models from NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA , CT and other regions /countries when
they are on tour.
Are you a
professional?
Yes,
I shoot all events and am a "freelance" photographer. This
means I
am
not under contract and shoot as I desire.
I also shoot as a photo-journalist for many NJ/PA newspapers. My images
have appeared on greeting cards, DVD covers,
professional corporate promoitions etc... I have recently won some cash
prize awards for my images in competitions.
Do you have a studio?
No not yet...
I just can not justify the cost at this time. In the meantime.I
do my studio
shoots at a professional studion in Metuchen, NJ or on location. I
have portable
lighting, umebrellas, reflectors, etc
Do you have
references?
Yes, many and
they are available to you upon request. Ask as many questions as you like since I
do not mind answering them.
What do
I need to do to prepare for a shoot?
The most
important thing is to decide what type of photos you want/need and
convey this
to me. Then
we need to go over poses that work best with your features. By all
means prepare any clothing you need. Give this some
thought. Make sure your roots are dyed and nails done. Get some sleep.
Not too much makeup unless we are doing
“Goth” or creative photography that calls for drastic makeup. Bring a
girlfriend who is really good at make up if
necessary.
Can I bring an Escort? Sure,
why not? The Studio is large and can accomodate many people. But
be aware that I might put them to work holding reflectors and helping
me look for flaws such as the placement of hands, stray hairs, crooked
necklaces etc...
